CintaDamai is hosted by a Japanese husband and his Sumbawan wife, living in Sekongkang with their two children, a cat, and a dog.
We love surfing, spearfishing, cooking, and traveling. CintaDamai was created from our own way of life — simple, peaceful, close to nature, and away from crowded places.
Rather than a formal hotel experience, we offer a warm and homely stay where guests can slow down, enjoy the view, cook, surf, explore, and feel the quiet rhythm of West Sumbawa.

The Big Bungalow is the most spacious stay at CintaDamai. Built with locally-sourced Sumbawa teak wood, bamboo details, large windows, and an open deck terrace, it offers a peaceful place to relax, read, work, or simply watch the sunset over Sekongkang's green landscape.
Furniture and joinery throughout the bungalow are handcrafted from Sumbawa-grown teak — a warm, durable tropical hardwood that ages beautifully and gives the space its quiet, grounded character.
This bungalow is ideal for families, small groups, surfers, or long-stay guests who want more space and comfort.
Small Bungalow

The Small Bungalow is a peaceful wooden stay surrounded by tropical plants and open ranch views. It is designed for guests who want a quiet, simple, and private place to slow down in Sekongkang.
Inside, you will find a king bed, warm wooden interiors, large windows, a ceiling fan, Starlink Wi-Fi, hot water, a fridge, coffee and tea, a work desk, wardrobe, and a hammock. The interior is furnished with carefully selected Indonesian antique furniture — pieces with character and patina that give the space a homely, lived-in warmth. Outside, the bungalow has a private kitchen and a semi-open bathroom surrounded by greenery.
